Join us as we select 10 teachers to participate in the Region 5 ESC hybrid WeTeach_CS Secondary Certification Hub:  Tech Apps Pathway for a well-designed professional learning experience to prepare you to take and pass the TExES 242 EC-12 Technology Applications Certification Exam.

 

NOTE:

You must be an inservice Texas teacher to apply.

Teachers who are CS 8-12 certified are not eligible for this Pathway.

Additionally, priority will be given to Gr. 6-12 teacher applications, however all grade level teachers are encouraged to apply!

Program Timeline:

February 2026 - February 2027

All applications must be accompanied by an Administrator Letter of Support. The letter, signed by your campus principal, must endorse your participation in the Region 5 WeTeach_CS Secondary Certification Hub: Tech Apps Pathway including a commitment to support the growth of computer science in your district.
